Conference tournaments going on this weekend.

Going to be a long day for the Big 12 folks. The 9 am game between Baylor and Oklahoma was pushed to 12:30 due to weather. Today's Game 4 is now scheduled to start at 11 p.m.

Alabama & Ole Miss in extra innings in the first game of the day in Hoover. A&M already 2-0 in the tournament after knocking off No. 1 seed Vandy yesterday.

Glad this thread is going, just so I can finally have a place to post this:

I don't know how the people responsible for these sleep at night. Good fabric died for this.

Meanwhile, in actual games, the Mississippi teams have been providing bookend drama in Hoover.
Ole Miss lost two straight extra-inning games (and three in a row in the 9:30 a.m. slot) and got bounced today. Mississippi State played 17 innings with Missouri in the late gameTuesday, then scored two in the ninth to beat South Carolina in the late game last night. State plays late tonight, too, against Texas A&M.

Hogs lead LSU 2-1 with the Tigers batting in the bottom of the 8th.

KU leads West Virginia 4-1 with the Mountaineers up in the bottom of the 7th. TCU & Ok State will play the nightcap.

Louisville mails in two lackluster efforts in the Big East Tournament, and probably cost themselves a No. 8 national seed.

    Couldn't happen to nicer folks.

LSU & Vandy restore order in the SEC, advancing to the semis on Saturday. LSU gets another shot at Arkansas, while Vandy has Mississippi State. Pups won't know what to do tomorrow playing in the sunshine after three straight games going deep into the night.

OU and KSU wil play for one of the slots in the Big 12 championship game tomorrow.

West Virginia is 2-0 in the other pool and I believe will clinch the other spot if KU beats Oklahoma State tonight.

EDIT: Correction, WVU is 1-1 and so is TCU. If OSU beats KU both of them will be 1-1 as well. If KU wins tonight they'll be 2-0.

Virginia Tech storms its way through its pool at the ACC tourney undefeated and has likely played its way into a regional host role.
