Not worth putting "2011" in the thread title, given that there is only one week of games this year.

The schedule is trickling out, and word is there are lots of back-to-back-to-back games. I'll be heading over to Vegas to put money on the easiest parlay of the season: The ancient Lakers, with an entirely new scheme brought in by a new coaching staff, will surely be 0-3 by Dec. 27. Hell, they were notoriously slow starters with an established routine the last few years.

Gotta like the Heat to finally win LBJ's title.

0-3 and you don't even know who the last two opponents are? That seems a bit of an overreaction, although I do think the Lakers will be down this year if they don't pull off a trade for Paul or Howard.

I'm looking forward to the season, although there will obviously be some very clunky play for a while.

Over/under on Celtics games in which Pierce, Garnett and Allen all appear is 20.

You see them losing to the Kings?

None are hurt now, right? I'll take the over.

They'll win at least one of those, but I'll say 1-2.

Lakers with Paul, Howard, and Kobe beat Heat with Dalembert in the middle.

Why is Scooby Doo the 76ers' potential mascot?

Sixth row, 10-game package for our pair of tix here in San Antonio.
We went down from the overpriced 25-game package we had last year.
    Couldn't afford it again.
I'm into it whenever the Spurs play but I'm really, really disinterested about now.

Last year's stunning first-round loss to Memphis, after posting the 2nd best league record, will certainly help pique interest here now.
Once they get going, I'll be back on the train and looking for another title with Tim, Tony and Manu.
