That dome sucked in 1992 and it sucks in 2012.

People rip the Trop and Rogers Centre, but at least they put on their prettiest dress from time to time.

It appeared the broadcasters were calling the game from a studio in the States as well.

They won't be deciding home field for the World Series, though.

The Braves have signed ... Livan Hernandez. I assume they're also negotiating a deal with the ghost of Eric Gregg.

    Article mentions Jamie Moyer.

Is he going to make the Rockies? Anyone know?

Yes. Will start April 7 vs. Houston:

The opening day starter for your New York Mets — Johan Santana:

That's incredible. I'll be rooting for him.

How soon till we revive the Hall of Fame thread?

Hopefully someone on the Rockies beat surveys the other 24 players to find out how many of their dads Moyer is older than.

My favorite Moyer anecdote is that he skipped school to go to the Phillies' 1980 World Series championship parade. He was a senior in high school.

The other fun thing is to look up how many of the Rockies weren't born by the time Moyer made his MLB debut.

By my count, it's nine out of 30, plus a couple of others who were born in '86, but before Moyer made his debut in June of that year.

Whoever had "before the season even fucking begins" in the Andrew Bailey injury pool, collect your winnings at the window:
