Midnight Interlude sounds like a late-night Skinemax movie.

Dialed In taking the money -- 5-2 favorite on current odds.

Animal Kingdom should have a great shot at winning today. I like the Aways - Sway and Dance - in the mix too. And I'm sure Mucho Macho Man will get bet down for sentimental reasons by the crowd.

Edit: Dance City, not Dance Away.

When running in to get tommorow's paper today at the local OTB, some clown at the window
laid down $25 apiece on the inside four horses -- AND the outside trio.

Even if he wins, he's wrong.

With customers such as these, bookmakers can't lose.

So far, inside part of the track is the place to be . . .

    I picked Mucho Macho Man.

Haven't seen any beer flowing down ass cracks yet, and probably won't go back to the infield. Saw a dude with a horse's head on, whom a colleague nicknamed "Half Keg."

Is anyone watching the TV coverage playing the drinking game for "new shooters"? If so, please make sure someone sober will call 911 for you after the race.

Don't think Bob Neumeier doesn't know about that drinking game. He's probably doing it on purpose.

    I'm covering several bases with 1, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the exotics.

That bunk bed in the jockeys' room looks like the one we had as kids.

For a horse that all the broadcasters said looked like shit heading to the gate, Shackleford sure looked good.
