    After last night's win over the mighty KC Royals, the White Sox are hitting .229 as a team, last in the AL (the Mariners are 13th, with a .233 average).

    And Chicago's team ERA is 4.73, good for 12th in the AL. Cleveland tops them in that category, too.

    The race for the basement of the AL Central is on!

    Yeah. Yet, for reasons like yesterday, the Indians still are able to find themselves looking up at the White Sox. I'll give props to Austin Kearns, Asdrubal Cabrera and Sin-Soo Choo. That triumvirate is doing great work to keep the Indians' team batting average above the White Sox.
