Haha no, he's about the only oft-injured guy I don't own. I am looking forward to the from-the-grave returns of Jake Peavy, Jacoby Ellsbury and Kendry Morales though!!! :D

Ouch. Well, you still might get Ellsbury back this year. No such luck with Peavy and Morales. I've got you beat, though. One team with Quentin, Morales, Peavy, Utley and Tulowitzki. Quentin hurt his hand stealing a base. You'd think as fragile as he is, the White Sox would give the guy instructions not to do stuff like that.

Did the Twins really just score four runs off Jenks in the ninth without recording an out to beat the ChiSox?

If you watch the replay of the final play of the game, you'll see Favre was in center for the White Sox.

Jenks ain't the old Jenks this season. It's possible Putz or Thornton could move up to closer.

No, Johan, you can't have a win.

    Not yours.

Seattle wins in extra innings. That puts Texas back on top by 4 1/2 games.

This is the stretch that is supposed to be the Rangers' Waterloo: a swing through Boston and Detroit, followed by seven with the Angels and A's at home; a nine-game West Coast trip; and eight in a row against NYY, Boston and Tampa Bay.

Of course, with all of those games inside the division they can pretty much put the thing away by Labor Day if they play well.

Goes back further than that. He's been on offer by Kenny Williams
and friends for the last few years, but they've (obviously) yet to
get the level of offer Williams would accept.

Technically Sergio Santos gave up the last hit.

Santos is a great story -- career minor league infielder turns into flamethrowing major league reliever -- but he's been shaky lately, and a guy who has only pitched two years in his whole life is not supposed to be putting out fires in the bottom of the ninth in a division game that was as good as won. And it's not just that Santos gave up the hit, but normally sure-fielding Alex Rios made pretty much the worst throw of his life, allowing the winning run to score.

Still, it's on Jenks. You just have to nail down a 6-3 game on the road against the friggin' piranhas.
