  1. I've only ever walked out of one movie: the Godzilla remake with Matthew Broderick.

Yeah, I liked 21 Grams... Depressing, but definitely good.

In a six-film ballot, ahead of The Reader and Benjamin Button.

Fourth, just behind Frost/Nixon and Milk.

I met Alan Arkin in March of last year. He said that he always thought that Brando being nominated for Streetcar Named Desire in 1951 was a little shaky in that, even though it was a movie, it was really a play on film. A play Brando had mastered four years beforehand.

    I thought so, too.

Plus you can always count on Watts to take her top off at some point.

    Only two, ever:
Punch-Drunk Love ... just too stupid for words.
Superbad ... maybe it turned out funny, but the first 10 minutes made me embarrassed to be there with my wife. Too profane. And I'm not a prude. A funny crotch joke is still funny. These were just crotch jokes.

Of course, my date that night was very not into me, so this may have been a strategic walk-out aimed at getting me back to the bar in time to make other arrangements.

I've almost walked out twice -- Saving Private Ryan and Coraline. Not because they were bad movies, but because the camera angles in Ryan and the 3D thing in Coraline made me sick to my stomach.
