Can't he work for TNT and also attend the draft lottery?

I feel bad for Griffin. The Clippers? Yuck.

Kings and Wizards fall to fourth and fifth? Ouch.

I was thinking it might be a conflicting interest.

Because how can he make a decent comment about the Kings if he is working for them or picking cards for them.

I know they are not in the playoffs, but will he be a regular season commenter for TNT next year?

Who cares? He's just stepping in during the lottery. I doubt he's an actual paid employee of the team.

I don't think of this in the same light as the run of the mill conflict of interest. Hell, former players and coaches go soft on their former teams all the time on TV/radio, etc.....They still get hired every single year.

Not a big deal. At all.

I feel bad for Griffin also, poor kid is going to be a millionaire living in Los Angeles.

With the Clippers winning it, apparently he was in charge of selection this year.

Yeah, I was just talking about the team he has to practice with and play for every night.

I wasn't making a grand statement on how bad I feel for rich pro athletes who have to find a way to manage on a seven figure salary.

I don't follow this very closely. Anyone any good going to be there for the Knicks at 8?

I laughed at Chad Ford's column calling DeJuan Blair 6-10.

Uhhh ... I've interviewed Blair a couple of times in person, and he's 6-6. Maybe 6-6.5. But that's it.

I do agree with Ford that Curry would be a great fit for D'Antoni's system.

I figured as much. Is there any way the Clippers can ever be a contender, like people said earlier in the thread, you would think all the crappy seasons would give them good talent.
