Hell, I'll probably try to gouge my eyeballs out with a spork by Memorial Day. Watching the worst bullpen in MLB history will do that to a person.

Yet, somehow, after 17 years of this crap, I'm still excited.

Why wouldn't you list Johnson first?

Watching parts of each game last night, the new parks look pretty cool.

I noticed quite a bit of difficulties with high flies and pops at the new Yankitorium.

My best friend was at Yankee Stadium last night and he's at Citi Field today. He raved about the new Stadium.

Ollie Perez is in midseason form. He gave up a leadoff single to Baldelli, then walked Pedroia, Ortiz and Youkilis.

Wicked line drive off the bat of Jason Bay, Perez snags it, but yaks the throw back to second to try to double off Ortiz.

According to Gary Cohen, Perez is only hitting 86 MPH on the radar gun. With two outs, Perez just walked Lowell to load the bases again.

EDIT: Lowrie crushed a grand slam--the first homer in Citi Field--to left center. Perez gets pulled and leaves to a loud chorus of vocal criticism.

It's a fucking exhibiton game. Why do we need freaking play-by-play?

Yes, especially when it doesn't mean a damn thing.

It's just an appetizer of what's to come. Mmmmm tasty!
