Negreanu's easily my favorite. I love his demeanor.

For Negreanu and Raymer to leave so early...they must have had really shitty hands. They are usually smart enough to survive the first day even with bad luck.

Either than or a royal suck-out.

Like Mike311, I'm a big Negreanu fan. I like Raymer as well.

    Is Phil Ivey still around?

I agree the luster has been lost somewhat but wouldn't it be cool if for once the final table had like four or five of the big names, like a Hellmuth and a Matusow and a Greenstein and an Ivey.

I don't think his day 1 has played yet.

    I think you're right.

I read today he's got nearly $500k in prop bets out on himself to win this year's ME. So when he goes out, it'll make a splash.

I'm not sure if they were on the ME itself. He had a lot of bets out there that he'd win a bracelet this year, and this is his final chance to come good.

By the way, for what it's worth, I don't see him any chip counts as today's play is underway. Which would mean he's on tomorrow, with a lot on the line.

According to the AP glance, Ivey's gone.

Annie Duke, Andy Bloch, Tom Schneider, Jennifer Tilley and Phil Ivey are gonzo.

From yesterday: Huck Seed, Gavin Griffin, J.C. Tran, T.J. Cloutier, Tony G, and Marcel Luske were eliminated as well.

Update: Doyle Brunson is gone as well.

$9.1 million to the winner, 666 get paid ... 6,844 entered, falling between 2006 and 2007 numbers.
