I don't care if you like the NBA or not, the Celtics season is a much bigger story than about half of your list.

Tough choices after the first two. After Phelps and the SB, I'd add the Celtics, Paddy Harrington, the Ryder Cup, Spain, Nadal-Federer, Tiger, Brady, the economy.

Edit: I forgot Usain Bolt--I'd throw him in there somewhere.

I'm not voting until I see "The Houston Comets folding" added to the list.

I think the Rays -- not the Series weather delay crap -- should be a selection.

I voted for Phelps-Nadal taking over from Federer-Lewis Hamilton.

I think the third one is a little bit of my GBness taking over, but what he's accomplished in two years in Formula 1 is amazing to me. I'd be interested to know who else voted for it.

    Phelps
    Spain
    Ryder Cup

I think that those were the three that elicited the biggest reactions out of me from the list. I'm still a little surprised that Spain couldn't find a way to lose in the Euro Final.

    Phelps, Bolt, Wimbledon final
