    This didn't occur to me until I looked at that list, but wow, what an unmemorable year in sports.

    Same here. The first two were easy. The Favre story won out over Bolt, Big Brown and Jimmie Johnson.

    Phelps, Giants SB, and Tiger Woods. Three things that don't happen often. Most of the others are just championships.

    After them, the Favre saga and then Usain Bolt and Brady's injury.

    I think the Celtics season and title was a better story than Brett Favre being shoved down our throats again.

    Phelps was memorable. That list as a whole seemed like a real reach.
