I think it's more interesting that you left West Virginia completely out despite its bowl win, but whatever.

It wasn't. I think they were a better team than Northwestern, Ball St. and several others I saw, but like I said, whatever. It's no sweat off my sack.

A bigger omission on my part was probably Iowa. Hasn't exactly been an overwhelming wave of early voters elevating West Virginia. But there apparently will be at least one more.

Like the Mountaineers (9-4 but likely no wins against top 25 opponents in the final poll), you won't see those teams in my final top 25. West Virginia and Brigham Young were my last two out. I stuck with Boston College (9-5) at No. 25 given its wins against VaTech and Florida State and that 11 of their 14 games were against bowl teams.
