The Phillies are going to run away with the division.

So Atlanta drops the first two of a big divisional series with the Phillies, and Game 3 sees the Braves field a battery of Campillo and Corky Miller?

    Clutch.

Good to see Joba acutally able to pitch into the fifth inning today.

After a 2-for-2 start, Escobar has struck out twice looking. Good job, Yunel.

Francoeur strands two more runners. Unbelievable. He's stranded about 120 runners in this three-game set.

.... especially when the only consistency is losing the game in the final couple of innings.

buck, maybe your expertise can explain this: Why do you change pitchers BEFORE issuing an IBB?

  10. it'll be funny if that intentional walk to Utley sparks a mammoth tear for the big boy. Still got one half inning to go and Lidge might be due for a meltdown.

I've been thinking that about Lidge, too.

The White Sox are leading the Twins 8-1 after dominating them the past two days. A win would put them 5.5 games ahead of Minnesota with one more against the Twins tomorrow.
