    Predictions?

Who I think should win Sunday:

Picture: No Country For Old Men
Director: Julian Schnabel (I'm sure this will go to the Coen Brothers, but this film, its vision, was incredible.... an absolute must-see)
    Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis
    Actress: Julie Christie
    Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem
    Supporting Actress: Amy Ryan
Cinematography: Roger Deakins, No Country For Old Men
    Original score: Atonement
    Original Song: Falling Slowly
Adapted screenplay: No Country For Old Men
Original screenplay: Juno (this will probably be the George Clooney blowjob statuette, though)

I expect No Country to earn Best Picture and Day-Lewis to capture Best Actor.

I think Ellen Page has a real shot, but I think Christie barely edges her.

ER is in for the contest.

Just saw There Will Be Blood last night. The movie didn't impress me, but if Daniel Day-Lewis doesn't drink everyone's milkshake in the Best Actor category, I'll be surprised.

    I'm finished!
