$10 says ARod strikes out in his first at bat, possibly with a runner in scoring position.

The NL's lack of lefthanded arms bites them in the ass, is my completely random bet.

AL will win and Ichiro will be the MVP, though if a Yankees player gets an RBI or Rivera gets a vulture win, I could see the MVP going to one of them.

Guesses on the losing pitcher? I'll take Carlos Marmol, unless Hurdle keeps him out because the guy has no business being there in the first place.

I'll take the AL...Webb and Lincecum pitched on Sunday, and Volquez went eight on Saturday.

Francona will get 'booed' out of Yankee Stadium; not only because he's the manager of the Red Sox but because he refused to start Riveria. I don't say I blame him, but it would have been a nice gesture to do so.

I see Volquez is already being subjected to the Dusty Baker school of pitching staff management. ::)
