And the Brewers have tripped over their shoelaces again, allowing the Dodgers to look like the team we expected to see for months now. :D

The richest deal ever for a player with less than three years experience and it goes to a small-market guy. funny. :) Guess we better save that list I posted last night and keep adding to it. :) Poor Red Sox and Yankees. What will they do at third base and/or left field now? :) Those damn small-market teams, keeping their own players without a salary cap! What are the odds? :)

I love it. I love when people are proven foolish.

What happened to Ben Sheets in the 7th inning?

He had scattered three hits and struck out five through six shutout, then gives up home runs to Andruw Jones and Jeff Kent and now a triple to James Loney.

As for Johan Santana not talking to the press, that reeks to high heaven of the work of the tits on a bull PR guy.

But remember: He's the best PR guy in baseball! Just ask him.

Between Pelfrey, McGowan, Billingsley, Laffey. Nice day so far for the break out SPs.

  6. I got my first look at Soria from KC last night.

    Ben Sheets must be hurt.

Check out this 7th inning by the Dodgers, 0-0 coming in remember:

    A. Jones home run
    A. Ethier ground out
    J. Kent home run
    J. Loney triple
    R. Martin single
    L. Maza single
    G. Bennett (Gary freaking Bennett) home run

    6-0 just like that.

When the Yankees sign him to a huge contract next year.

Of course, he will probably pull his groin signing on the dotted line.

My wife (an Orioles fan) just sent this to me. Lest anyone forget that Kevin Millar was an Idiot in 2004 ...

That was posted on the old thread, I think. Well worth a second look. Awesome in its awfulness.
