Someone should nominate Sean Avery for the Lady Bing Trophy, just for laughs.

 

A couple of interesting tidbits, The Oilers have requested permission from the New York Rangers to talk to Tom Renny, while Marc Crawford insists he still wants in on the job.

And the NHL has loaned money to the Coyotes, giving them more control over the franchise.

I kinda like Marc Crawford in the booth doing colour.

I've even got used to his high pitched girly voice.

 

He sounds far too much like Bill Clinton.

Maybe so, but there's nothing wrong with this award. Some are, of course, a little overly concerned about their masculinity.

There has to be some ability to play to go along with not being some pseudo-toughie. Nothing wrong with that ... understand that enforcers are needed to keep things in balance, but the Lady Byng should not invoke female genitalia references, either.
