Seeing this thread start means my NHL in Canada trip is fast approaching.

I already have my ticket for a game in Montreal on Jan. 4.

Is it true that the Leafs single-game tickets presale is tomorrow?

And that's about all this rinky-dink rink's suited for.

Anything interesting come out of the Board of Gov. meetings besides that the cap might go DOWN next season? Anything on Vegas and KC for 10?

I don't think anyone's expecting expansion. Relocation could be a possibility, the Panthers could probably go to KC and still kind of fit in with the Southeast Division motif.

God, I hope not. Expansion right now would be stupid. Moving a team to either market would be no more intelligent; in the case of Las Vegas, it would be just plain dumb.

A Florida team moving to Kansas City SHOULD cause Nashville to shift to the Southeast, seeing as it's only a four-hour drive from Atlanta.

    Excellent idea.

They had a chance to do that with the Richards deal, instead they chose to take 2 3rd liners and an average at best goalie.
This is not a deal the new regime liked.
Having said that I have always pull for a team like the Lightning who try to entertain as well as win.
