    In case folks haven't seen it elsewhere yet, Villanova made a very conscious decision to hold itself to three games this season at Wachovia for this very reason -- the possibility of getting to play there in the tournament.

    I know it's just the CBI, but as a proud alum, hard not to be amazed by Oregon State winning the thing in El Paso Friday after going o-fer in conference last season and finish with an 18-18 record. I'm sure we've all covered or followed teams that weren't supposed to do much during a season and just enjoyed watching a group of players come together and surpass their wildest expectations, whether they win something big or not.

    Dragging this thread back up because there is news, but not worth its own thread -- Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins announced tonight that they will return to Kansas next season.
