If you like that one, shot, try some of the real hooky stuff of their previous album "Final Straw." Some great songs on that one, like "Chocolate", "Run" and "Grazed Knees".

  5. lupe fiasco's "Real"

"Stranger In the House" by the Paybacks was my fave song this year.

    Others in no particular order:

    "In View" - Tragically Hip

    "Comatose" - Pearl Jam

"Marker In The Sand" - Pearl Jam

"World Wide Suicide" - Pearl Jam

"Pink Cadillac" - Jerry Lee Lewis

"Real Mean Bottle" - Bob Seger

"Into The Mystic" - Colin James

"If My Heart Was A Car" (live) - Old 97s

    "Favorite Son" - Green Day

    "Never Gonna Die" - Shys

    Exactly.
Other than the amazing "Hands Open", the rest of the new CD is pathetic in comparison to Final Straw. "Spitting Games" is one of the easiest songs to fall in love with.

I'm partial to the lead track on the album, "Wreck This Heart." And "Wait For Me" is a wedding staple waiting to happen.

And since it's Huggy, I will blast you for not including Cheap Trick's "If It Takes A Lifetime" or "Perfect Stranger." Or even their Beatles homage, "O Claire." :D :D

I think the best two albums of the year were Pearl Jam and Audioslave's "Revelations." Both are in heavy rotation in the Gillette237mobile.

My two favorite active bands are Pearl Jam and Audioslave, but for me 2006 will always hold a special place in my heart for introducing me to...

    WOLFFUCKINGMOTHER!!!!!!!

I partied like it was 1979.
