One pound, six ounces? Holy hell.

    Fingers crossed.

Serious question: After 18 kids, wouldn't the nutrients dry up over time?

I could be horribly wrong and I expect it, but that could explain how the kid is so underdeveloped.

    Wow, prayers for the family.

Maybe this will be the wake-up call these idiots need so they stop having kids.

    Yikes.

As a premature baby myself (2 lbs., 5 oz.), I'm hoping for the best.

I don't understand why this folks are idiots just because they are different?

They support their kids and they aren't draining the government. I don't see what the problem is. Yeah they are a bit strange and I would never have 19 kids, but they are obviously good people so who cares?

If you have 19 kids in this day and age, there's something seriously wrong with you.

As a fellow preemie, I see weights like that and weights like the 19th Duggar's and I consider myself lucky that I was four pounds at birth. Of course, I was less lucky in other ways...

They are allowed to have 19 kids.
And I'm allowed to think they're insane.

And I'm allowed to think that's needlessly judgmental.

They've been awful lucky to have had 18 previous kids and have them all turn out healthy and without any physical or mental defects. I can't help but think that if they had a child that was more challenging than usual that the Duggars wouldn't have kept spitting out kids.

Guess they were about due to have one with problems. Here's hoping for the best for the little one.
