15-ton "Fatberg" discovered in London sewers

    Bus-sized chunk of congealed lard, cooking oil and other nastiness was discovered in a London sewer. The thing weighed 15 tons and was threatening to start oozing out of manhole covers and onto the street. Sanitation workers spent three weeks dismantling it with high-pressure hoses.
