But they try just as hard as the boys.

    Agree totally.

Now the LLWS borders on kiddie porn.

    Poindexter-
You say, the ground ball went "under the glove of the shortstop and then went under the glove of the right fielder."

So, exactly at what angle did that ball travel? Was home plate somewhere near the left field foul pole?

    Just wondering.

Hey! Those girls work just as hard as the boys and deserve a little recognition, too!

Of course, the BOYS' Little League World Series should never see the light of TV, either.

If your son is on the team, you should care. If he's not, you shouldn't -- in fact, if you do, it's a little creepy.

As opposed to high school girls, who are so picky they make sure their make-up is perfect before every girls' basketball game. :D

I'm sure they do deserve "recondition", you bunch of kid-haters. Hell, this is the way it's going in the biz, writing about people because their parents subscribe or advertise.

Granny has all the tools to be a citizen journalist.

I imagine ESPN will be showing the "challenger division" world series next year, hosted by Chris Connelly.

Let's all remember... Everybody's a winner, state champion, national champion, WHATEVER!

Maybe the grandchildren should go play up/down there. I think covering anything below the 11-12 Little League postseason is a waste of ink. When I played, no kids or parents in my town could give two shits about coverage. We just wanted to play.
