You're looking mighty dashing yourself, Fenian.

Oh. I didn't see the tights.

    Never mind.

Not to mention that most men, least as evidenced on this board, have little to no idea of what women actually find physically attractive. Attraction for women is a lot more complicated than it seems to be for guys.

Oh, and Josh Malina is hot, in a nerdy way, like Michael Cera.

Seconded on the first part, not on the second. Michael Cera seems 17 to me, which, oddly, doesn't work for me with him.

But is Josh Malina the kind of guy a woman would fall all over on sight? Or one that might be considered not bad, and then attractive if the personality adds to the equation. I think that was Pilot's issue.

I gave up trying to figure out what women find attractive long ago, among the many things I gave up trying to understand about women. One of you found me attractive enough to marry, so I stick to trying to understand her. :)

  7. Good god, woman.
    Get a grip.

  8. I know a lot of guys who fell in love with Lisa Loeb immediately and it was at least partially because of her "geeky" appearance.

Oh, he's hot, esp. with the glasses. Course I am really attracted to geeks and/or nerds, so ya know. But I never questioned Natalie finding him hot at first sight, probably because I did too.

Me too. But for me it was part the hot geek, part the neuroses. I seem to be attracted to neurotic guys.

Loved the show, was crushed that they were canceled. Much better than WW because, they did it first, and more importantly was annoyingly preachy far, far less often.

Is watching Revenge of the Nerds for you kind of like watching porn is for guys?

Really though -- Nope. Sorry. I still don't believe if Josh Malina came in to interview in full nerd and geek mode, you'd demand your boss hire him on the spot because he's that much more attractive anyone else could possibly be. I don't care that you "like geeks and nerds." So do I. I'm perfectly able to fall head of heels, but I have to at least talk to the person first.

Again, I'll grant they could get together and they could find one another immensely attractive -- both physically and in every other way. I'll grant that you find him very attractive and would fall in love with him, but I refuse to believe Josh Malina is a guy a woman is going to make crazy at first glance from the other end of the hallway. Believe me -- I live in the same world as you. I know exactly what you're talking about, but that part of the show was either bad writing or bad casting, because it wasn't set up well.

They weren't selling him as great guy to get to know, a great guy for a relationship or someone his spouse would find beautiful. They were billing him as a male model, drop-dead traffic-stopping hot, and that's just silly. Let him talk to her for a few minutes and get in a snappy one-liner ... hell, let them do it while walking between rooms, if they need to. I'd have believed that.

At least he talked to the porn star before she fell for him. (I can't believe I just used that plot to back a point up.)
