10 worst movies of all-time

A bad film certainly, but people did laugh (quite hard) at the showing I saw. I thought the first of the three shorts was pretty damn good. I mean Larry David as a nun getting knocked around, c'mon man!

I think most truly bad films are ones people forget about and never watch again. Nothing mainstream. I have these bargain bin collections of Spaghetti Westerns which fit that bill. Cheapo crap. Most extremely low budget exploitation films from the 70s are painful to endure.

I guess I find there to be a big difference between "movies I didn't like" and "the 10 worst movies of all time."

And if I don't count porn (tho IDC was seen in an actual theater back in the Boogie Nights days), I'd throw in Humanoids From the Deep

I'm not much of a movie buff, but saw "The Little Shop of Horrors" when it came out in theaters.

And yes, I would have walked out of that movie on an airplane. Yeech! Worst. I. Ever. Saw.

Not a fan of musicals? Of Rob Marshall? Of Zeta-Jones? Zellweger?

"Nine" is much worse. Orders of planetary magnitude worse. Worst-big-budget-musical-ever-ever-ever-made, what-in-the-world-was-Daniel-Day-Lewis-thinking worse.

  7. I walked out of "Kissing a Fool" (David Scwimmer movie) when it was in a dollar theater. Worst movies of all time is tough because some are great for how bad they are (thanks MST3K).

I'm talking what I've seen. I have nothing against musicals prima facie. I've seen several live, and Mamma Mia as a movie was enjoyable though flawed. But Chicago was the worst best picture ever. Overacting, trite, stereotyped dialogue, unenjoyable singing.

No mention of Showgirls yet? Turrrrrible, but I absolutely love watching it.

What!? You take that back. John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Demi Moore. And Digital Underground when Tupac was still with Digital Underground.

And somehow it was still awful.
