Hopefully this isn't a d_b (nothing Sopranos came up in a search for the last few days), but the entire series is coming out as a box set. How much will Best Buy, Circuit City and other stores drop it to for the holiday sales?

Bet Amazon has it for about $250.00

No salt and pepper shakers from Holstens?

    What a ripoff.

Just ridiculous. I couldn't imagine spending that much for a television show that I might watch one more time.

Know they're angling for the Christmas trade, but seems a tad late, to me, especially given the broad exposure/circulation of the sets representing individual seasons.

Chase's associated comments about how much work the added features were,
    were hilarious.

Problem with something like this is, anyone who likes the show enough to spend that kind of money probably already has some of the season box sets. I have four of them, and as much as I'd dig the extras on this set, I wouldn't pay to have that stuff again.

Now, as soon as they do The Wire complete box, I'm all over that.

Don't know that for sure about Gandolfini. Know Sorvino thinks he's God's gift.

I'll be picking this up, but for way cheaper than that price.

The show made his life. It will be the only thing anyone remembers when he dies in five years of a heart attack.

This penny-ante bullshit is so fucking narcissistic.

    Show a little fucking appreciation.
