The list. Soon to be followed by the bulleted item column. Later we might get the treasured "Here are all the things that have happened in the world since (fill in the blank) won a title!"

 

i'll bet ya 10 bucks that none of those 10 columns win any awards.

 

That's almost as many posts as some of us make in 10 hours here.

Boss: "Mark, we need to talk"
Purdy: "What's up?"
Boss: "You know, the average number of clicks for your columns really fell off in March. I hope that picks up or we're going to have to note it on your next evaluation."

 

Gimmick journalism, attention whore, etc., etc. ...
I wonder what Purdy's newsroom thought of this stunt.

No. "10 Columns and 10 Hours to Do It."

Keep it simple, content marketing feebs.

 

I didn't read one of his columns. Would rather someone put a bullet in my oolah-oblah-gallah than sift through 10 columns of mindless dribble and shit.

 

If you didn't read any how do you know they aren't pretty good? This guy is a serious writer for, oh, 40 years.

 

That's what I found embarrassing. A columnist with Purdy's experience shouldn't resort to gimmick tactics.
