Jerry Maguire isn't a fucking sports movie. And where the hell is Necessary Roughness? Sinbad... Scott Bacula.. Kathy Ireland... Robert Loggia... Kansas getting tied... that SCREAMS top 10.

If there's a horse flick in the sports top-10, it has to be Let It Ride :)

Agree, Mizzou, A Few Good Men seems like a lazy choice for No. 5, let alone top-10 in its category.

Was the Third Man an American film? I thought that was a British film with American actors in it. Same for Lawrence Of Arabia.

It probably depends on who foots the bill.

    Quoting the wife:

"They have no idea what fantasy is."

(yeah, yeah, have your fun with quotes).

And some of the science fiction stuff . . . . WOW.

Seriously. This list is utter bunk.

Snow White was the first animated full-length feature, but it wouldn't even be in my Top 10 of all-time, nevermind No. 1.

I'm probably the only person I know who hated "A Few Good Men."

Raging Bull is the obvious choice for sports movies...but IMO Goodfellas > The Godfather...very close though.

    Agreed on both counts.

A Few Good Men was overrated because people said "It has a cast of people I've heard of! And it's long! Dramatic music! With jack Nicholson freaking out! What an EXCELLENT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!'

    That Emperor had no clothes.

    Whoa! Robert Loggia!

R as in Robert Loggia. O as in 'Oh my god, it's Robert Loggia.' B as in 'By God! It's Robert Loggia.' E as in 'Everybody loves Robert Loggia.' R as in Robert Loggia. T as in 'Tim, look over there! It's Robert Loggia.' Space. L as in 'Look! It's Robert Loggia.

    Sorry. I couldn't pass that up. ;D

Not sure where it would be listed, but I didn't see Citizen Kane anywhere on there.

It's ok. I think of that movie every time I see the family guy bit. Loggia is a Mizzou guy, and I'm guessing why Kansas was the school the 'Dillos tied in that movie.

And my favorite bit remains the tryout in the gym.

    "Popke, show him the arm."
    [Popke flexes his biceps]

    "Throw the damn ball, genius."

[Popke throws the ball, missing the receiver but drilling the basketball hoop]

"How about that.. he sucks at two sports."
