Oops. You're right. I guess history has proven that its a bad idea to attempt an armed robbery at Miami area Burger Kings.

The one from 2007 was the most popular Subway shooting since Bernie Goetz.

An armed populace is a safer populace. Gun control only removes guns from the law-abiding and having only criminals and government with guns is not a good idea. Ask Great Britain about their crime rate with ridiculously strict gun control. Not a safe place at all.

I'm glad the perp got popped. It makes predators think twice when gun owners may or may not be around. I'm a concealed-permit carrier and I'm hoping that I never have to pull my weapon in a situation like that. But if the need arises, I'll be ready and hopefully will save the lives and property of myself and others.

"Perp"..."popped"...wow, lot of SportsJournalists.com hardasses around here.

GB's crime rate may be up, but it's still far less than the US's and it has nothing to do with restrictive gun laws. That's sheer nonsense.

There are people with guns I don't even trust behind the wheel of an automobile. Many of them, I tend to think they shouldn't have either. I know I'd feel safer if they didn't.
