    Well he picked the wrong store at the wrong time to rob. Too bad about the customer getting shot too.

    and that's what concealed carry permits are for.

  4. The only way it could have gone any better is if no one, you know, got shot.

    No sympathy for the customer who intervened?

    And it could have gone a lot worse. What's your point? We'd all prefer if this had not happened, but the outcome was a damn sight better than usual with these types of shootings. I'm sure the customer with the gun will get blamed for this somehow.

  7. Sure. He got shot. But not knowing the circumstances, it's hard to know whether he prevented something or provoked it.

    Damn, faster than I thought.

  11. It's a legitimate question. Especially in the case of a robbery.

    If this were a madman shooting everyone in a fast food joint, I'd grant immediately that the citizen who neutralized him is a hero.

    But it's not. It's a robbery. Maybe the guy leaves without hurting anyone. Maybe not. Hard to say without knowing more of the story, that's all.

    You guys are ridiculous. ::)

    I do not understand why so many people love to play the victim. On all sides. Just seems like a waste of energy to me.
