    CSU added water polo to fill the money issue, but the school didn't even hire a coach for it, just asked the long-time swimming coach if he wanted to be in charge of the new program also. Needless to say, they're probably the worst team on campus ... and CSU has a football team that has gone 3-9 for two straight years and a women's basketball team that rode a 20-game losing streak when I was a sophomore.

    There's actually all sorts of Title IX silliness from Colorado State, such as the previously mentioned water polo team. And yes baseball was in large part a Title IX cut, but it was also just as much a money issue. They also dropped softball around the same time (early 90s), but members of the team sued in the name of Title IX, won and got the sport reinstated. The softball team still exists. There isn't even a baseball field on campus any more.

    And put me in the club sports are in the some what comical category, which makes this incident some what appropriate.
