Wetzel's last column it looks like was about soccer:

I also see a very recent NBA article. Damn shame if you ask me if he's out of the NCAA scene. I enjoyed his stuff.

Here's Burlison's archive at the Press Telegram:

Always worth the trip in my opinion. Here he is on Fox: http://msn.foxsports.com/writer/archive?authorId=48

He also works with Fox's little sister Scout.com. Does great stuff during the summer on the sneaker camps.

About Goodman, I know he is from the Boston area. He runs the National Prep Showcase in Wocester which I attended a few months ago. Probably one of the most organized tournaments I've been to. Seems like a good guy too, although I can't say I know him too well. I know he also writes occasionly for the Boston Herald as well.

You can't honestly like Whelliston (sp). Some stuff I read (lower conf. previews) had many errors and he didn't bother doing any research, or so it seemed.

I really don't judge writers by how good their editors are. Some outlets have a guy with an Ivy League Master's degree in English on call 24/7 to edit stuff, and some don't. I can see why other people (especially on this board) would see it differently. To me, originality/creativity is a lot more important, as in offering me a perspective that I wouldn't find elsewhere. Needs to be thoughtful and well written of course. Here is an article from Whelliston I read this past week for example: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/print?id=2726437&type=story. This kid Trey Johnson has been leading the NCAA in scoring all season, and I haven't read even one decent story about him. Compare that with the love-fest last year around Morrison and Redick, where basically the same exact story was regurgitated 1000 times over in a span of 3 months. That's why I'll go out from time to time to see what Whelliston's been up to.
