    Not that just suggesting that Football bat might want to lay down sand instead of grass seed. It does have a few benefits besides being low maintenance

    From poking 'round the Web, looks like I need to wait for the first freeze before overseeding.

    Shit, that could be December in these parts.

    Is it a good idea to apply a pre-emergent herbicide first, and if I do, how long should I wait after that to overseed with rye?

    You really need to find a good hardware guy in your geographic area or just lay down sand.

    No spoilers, but a hint of things to come: Series will have a cliffhanger in December not revealed until it returns in February. That's gonna suck!
