    Assistant Sports Editor - The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is seeking an assistant sports editor to direct high school coverage. The Sun-Sentinel, circulation 248,000 daily and 340,000 Sunday, provides thorough coverage of 100 high schools in Broward and Palm Beach counties and is in an extremely competitive market. We are looking for an energetic, organized, effective communicator who has the experience and ability to coach reporters on news coverage and push them toward timely trend and enterprise stories. Duties include scheduling and planning, coordinating preview and game coverage and working closely with reporters and their stories. This editor oversees our football special sections and our all-county pages. Experience as a supervisor is preferred, but not required.     Had a prep opening over the summer. the former asst. sports editor moved into multimedia/online.
