    As Charmion Cockdian's media representative, I'd like to state at this time that he is not now, nor ever was "gay" as COCKDIAN would like to assume.

    OK, so I'm really saying it as his fiancee, but since I'm moving in 23 days with no jobs lined up, I think I can play "media representative" for awhile on SJ to keep me occupied.

    I will address questions for Mr. Charmion Cockdian now.

    According to cubsnet.com, 80 percent of fans are unhappy with this trade.  The Cubs traded a former Cy Young Winner for a Gold Glove winner who recently had a season-ending surgery.  How would you feel about it? The positive note is trading a 40-year-old for a 26-year-old.  But in the end, he thinks they'll just have to get out there and keep fighting.  He still intends on supporting his Cubbies.

    This press conference is not about me; however, I do plan on supporting the Cubs as long as Michael Barrett is on the team.  They will not be supported as my favorite team, though, as I am a die-hard Royals fan.
