April 1, 2004, I believe, I had a few people fooled into thinking I am a woman. Call it my homage to 21, Lugnuts and Cadet.

I think that was the first April Fool's Day on which we changed our names en masse.

I am trying to recall the specifics of the cat fight. I know I wrote something about 9-11 widows, I THINK (no I'm not Ann Coulter). Or something about 9-11. The guy who challenged me had a handle with the name of a local NYC fireman. I don't recall much else, but I know I said to meet me at Penn Station, knowing that was the best possible place since I live 3000 miles away. I don't know why I kept going, but I was googling like mad trying to get more details on where we should meet for the fight.

This isn't ancient history or anything, but the one story from this site that I'll never, ever forget is that guy who found his ex-girlfriend on a porn site. Girl was like seven months pregnant and doing this lesbian scene. He posted the photos and all.

Wally Matthews was definitely on the old, old site because I remember sitting in my car and hearing Matthews on ESPN radio or something talking about sportspages.com at the time. I posted occasionally on the old, old board before that (and before a job move), but I hadn't since I had taken my then-new job. I remember thinking, sportspages.com, I forgot all about that.

Then I forgot all about it for two years, until a fateful day when I saw SJ on a MLB beat writer's laptop in a press box. Logged in, and besides the great crash of '04 (way to go, 21   :D), have never left since.

    Anyway ...

Midget porn: Something dearly departed poster Tron found in his parents' bedroom.

Jeez, 21. I wouldn't have remembered that in a million years. But now that you mention it, I think I might have called the thread Tuesday's Gone. Must have been listening to Skynyrd.

Man's name was Harry. That was a bleak scene. Seriously unforgettable.

I think She Who Must Not Be Named also posted on that thread, so we can Carbon date her with it, too.

I remember the Tuesday, because it wasn't Monday. We were worried that we might run out of days.

That's my boy Hustle. Very very very odd situation. I'll also remember him pulling into the bank parking lot blasting something embarrassing (Journey?) from his car as a hot chick walked past.

Even though I had already been aware of most of the stuff that has been referenced on this thread, it has been really cool to hear the senior members of this and past boards talk about days gone by. The one thing on this board that I don't understand is what do the letters IIRC stand for, I get what it means but I can't figure out what they stand for.
