All this talk makes you think how sad it is Hollywood hasn't had a real good Western here recently.

    Silverado.

What other great western comedies are there?

    The Searchers
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
    Stagecoach
    High Noon
    Tombstone

And one of my personal faves, for having both The Duke and Robert Mitchum, El Dorado.

  5. Cat Ballou was on AMC last night. Very underrated.
And Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was billed as a comedy when it was released.
And, my nominee for the most underrated American movie of all time -- Little Big Man.
"This is my son. See that he does not go crazy."

Elsewhere, I've got to go with High Noon and The Searchers, with Unforgiven and LBM tied for the bronze.
