In that respect, "The Rookie" has some good tunes on it as well.

My hidden side is into electronica, and the soundtrack from "Monsoon Wedding" has some nice mixtures of Indian and techno/breakbeat.

Both "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenenbaums" had excellent soundracks. Own them both and play them often.

Sure this dates me, but the soundtrack to Pretty in Pink is tremendous.

Again, hardly unexpected, but Leaving Las Vegas has a great jazz score, by director Mike Figgis no less. Few rare Sting covers on there too.

Send me a PM before the trip. No cash needed.

Idaho, I do have a Kenny Loggins song on my iPod. I was watching a baseball special when I put it on, and it's labeled Kenny Lofton.

I looove that Alanis song. It's pretty powerful.

Forgot about that. That's a good one too.

  9. Godzilla had a few good rarities on it from the boys of Foo and Ben Folds Five to name a few.

Mariah Carey was named after a song from that movie -- "They Call The Wind Mariah."

And Lee Marvin had a No. 1 hit in Britain with the song "Wandrin' Star." It was No. 1 for three weeks. I'm not making this up.

I love that movie and gave my dad the soundtrack on CD for his 60th birthday a few years ago. It was a big hit.
