Now they need to find a closer. Kimbrel came on to protect a two-run lead tonight. He was yanked after giving up two hits and a while while recording only one out. Cano came in to bail him out and promptly walked a batter to load the bases.

I believe Cano should get the save opps going forward, and they should at least see how many prospects they would need to give up to land Mason Miller.

Kimbrel is who he is now, and every third appearance is going to be a dumpster fire.

Regarding that clip Octave posted in the Castellano RIP thread ... if you watch for a few minutes longer they give predictions.

One of them said A's vs. Mets. Given what happened, I don't think I've ever thought about that bizarre possibility till now.

    A's-Mets ... who'd'a'won?

Happy 93rd! Hope he'll be at Rickwood next month.

He's had a bad hammy since 2016. Those things just never completely go away.

His injury brings Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, native Kyle Manzardo to the big leagues.

Bad news? Manzardo goes 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in his debut.

The writer of that tweet is not good enough to work for the Plain Dealer.
