NBC: Israel did the bombings inside Iran.

    Oh boy.

Beau's expecting things to go bad quickly when the IDF hits Rafah. You won't find any sunshine pumping in here.

So what does Israel do after Iran’s retaliation to their retaliation to Iran’s failed retaliation? Drop a nuke?

If I was the average day Iranian, I’d be pissed that our military’s been dragged into this nonsense by Hamas. I’m sure the IRCG probably thought this would be over by now.

This was completely predictable. The only way Bibi avoids prison is to remain a war prime minister. He knew it a year before Oct. 7 and was rooting for it to come sooner.

It's been six months since Hamas attacked Israel and Israel responded with war. Since then, the most frequent complaint we get in the Public Editor inbox is that NPR has downplayed the suffering of Israelis while calling attention to the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.

It was also one criticism of many mentioned in a column last week from an NPR editor. It raises a question: Should the news coverage of this war be proportional to the number of civilian deaths and suffering?

    I don't envy their decision.

Jews are both a historically and repeatedly persecuted group in the past and the present, who have responded to a heinous terrorist attack by a group that is a clear and present existential threat by something that, at minimum constitutes indiscriminate killing and deprivation of civilians and at maximum constitutes genocide.

One way or the other, the people you don't support think you're siding with people who want to wipe them off the face of the earth.

She earned the right to speak as valedictorian.

Her safety should be her concern. The safety of everyone else is the responsibility of USC. So put security at the graduation.

"Safety" is always a concern to someone. There are people who would shut down the world over "safety" rationales.

She is the valedictorian. She earned that honor with her academic performance. She should be giving a speech.
