Esquire, I think, or one of the fancy boy mags socialing that Dave's monologue was dishonest or disingenuous or dangerous or something.

There were a few tremendous pieces.

"That would be like America losing a war to Colorado."

On Trump being in bed with the Russians:

“I even look at his wife different now. His wife is beautiful, no question about it. But she looks like the kind of chick that James Bond would smash but not trust.”

Chappelle got to speak his “truth” about Jewish people without going over the line for those who weren’t playing close attention.

He even said it at the beginning with that paper statement he read.

And he’s going to hide behind it when called out. Just gross.

I agree with Mike Schur’s take on it. Chappelle has every right to do it and we have every right to wonder why such a talented, funny person is wasting his time punching down.

Austin Butler was brilliant in Elvis, but I don't know his comedic chops.

The Martins should be excellent, but I would've saved them for the pre-Christmas finale, where they usually pull out all the stops.

Eh, pre-Christmas is usually when they load up the show with "surprise" appearances and bits. It wouldn't surprise me if that's why Butler is the host, although he was decent enough in "Elvis" that I think he'll be fine on the show.

This was pretty fantastic from James Austin Johnson

You know Hanks will be there. He was in the Elvis movie with him.

Makes sense, but would they pull the Hanks card twice in about 6 episodes?
