My figuring is they have to catch a flight after the game, so they put on the jammies ahead of time.

Aaron Judge won’t see another hittable pitch until October.

I certainly hope you're wrong, a home run chase of this magnitude is soooooo good. (Includes Pujols too)

Pitchers will groove balls to Pujols. He’ll get 700. It’s the benefit of respect.

So do Yankees fans* hope to shut down the Red Sox in the 9th or give up a run or two for Judge to come up one more time?

*Yes I know you want the team to win, but it has to be in the back of more than a few minds.

Tough week continues for the Mariners. Julio Rodriguez joins Suarez on the injured list. They’re currently losing 4-1 at Kansas City.

The Orioles already won, too. They can pull within 2.5 games for the final Wild Card spot.

Before the season, I didn’t think it was possible Pujols would reach 700. Best case scenario was he caught ARod. But he has played inspired baseball since the All-Star break, and he’s won a bunch of games lately. The Machine, indeed.

699 was a middle-middle cookie. 700 was a tough breaking pitch on the black that he turned on and crushed. Move over Babe, Henry and Barry.
