    Since it was mentioned.

    Minnesota greatness.

Look for me in one of the crappy 'luxury suites' I was there:

Wow, great to hear Danny Galavan on the pxp. Loved me some North Stars, from the Danny Grant/Billy Goldsworthy era.

The Delmon Young double is as loud as I've ever heard Camden Yards. Place was fucking electric.

In the “Learn Something New Every Day” category: They used fucking 2X4s to do the dirt cutouts on Astro Turf?

What the hell were people thinking back then?

What’s crazy is what doesn’t make the top three.

Polamalu INT return for a TD against Flacco.
Third-and-27 to Brown against the Ravens
    Lambert throwing down Harris
    Roethlisberger’s open-field tackle
Bradshaw to Stallworth against the Rams
    Randal-El to Ward

1- Tony Perez homer in game 7
2- Rose's record breaker (yeah yeah, I know)
3- When Bench didn't have lung cancer

The 2x4 outline was always quite visible at Three Rivers Stadium and some of the other cookie-cutters. I never understood why they didn't just cut out the entire infield territory, make it dirt and then recover with the turf for football.

Was one of the few Long Beach State football fans, RIP. When George Allen died, so did 49ers football.

Long Beach sent plenty of guys to the NFL and it's where Terrell Davis began his college career before transferring.

That said, Michigan had 1st and goal at the 1 and Long Beach stuffed 'em 4 straight plays.

Not my favorite team, but I'm pretty fond of this program and this was an absolute blast of a moment ...

Fidrych beating the Yankees on MNB would have to be in there somewhere.
