Here's a question - do you call them the Commanders for everything they've done in history? Or Redskins through whenever they went with WFT and Commanders from now?

Anyway, the NFL team that plays outside DC now:

    1. The first Super Bowl victory
    2. The second Super Bowl victory
    3. The third Super Bowl victory

Honorable mention from a non-Super Bowl: Ken Houston holding Walt Garrison up and out of the end zone to secure a victory over the Cowboys.

Pacers: 3.) Reggie Miller hits a three with 18.2 seconds left in game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference semis to bring the score to 105-102 Knicks. 2.) Reggie Miller steals the inbound pass, steps back and hits a three to tie the game at 105 with 15 seconds left. 1.) Reggie Miller hits two free throws with 7.5 seconds to go to give the Pacers the win.

Candlestick Park deserves its own dishonorable mention.

My favorite teams are USC Football, Dodgers, Lakers, (original) L.A. Rams, Kings. I'll start with USC Football.

The "play" is The Drive at the Palouse with freshman Marinovich.

It's the polar opposite of Jack Clark '85.

Turn the volume up and get lost in the moment.

    2. Joe Carter's walkoff against the Phillies
    3. Devon White's catch on David Justice in Game 3 of the 1992 World Series (I was there)
Also receiving votes: Jose Bautista's bat flip homer against Texas, Dave Steib no hits the Indians

Hiring Don Shula, for those of us who remember how awful the Dolphins were before 1970.

    Hokies:
    1. The Michael Vick scramble against West Virginia that set up Shayne Graham's winning field goal and kept the perfect season alive
    2. 1995, my sophomore year, Tech starts 0-2 with losses to Boston College and Cincinnati, plays Miami at Lane Stadium next. Beats the Hurricanes 13-7 and doesn't lose again the rest of the way, beats Texas in the Sugar Bowl, starts the golden era of Hokies football that runs through the early 2010s. Tech doesn't sniff the ACC without that 1995 season, which led to better recruiting and the aforementioned Vick coming to Blacksburg.
    3. Recency bias? Maybe. But winning the ACC basketball tournament at Barclays this past year was pretty damn special.
