I feel bad for the flack that has to gush about the PayCor Stadium deal. How do you describe the Bengals? Or the stadium? They aren't legendary, successful, iconic, or any of the usual words tossed around ahead of "brand."

"PayCor is excited to partner with the Bengals one of the teams in the AFC North"?

Yeah, most of us who aren't Johnny-come-lately know them as the Bungles.

But they are the reigning AFC champion, which could well be a reason the business and franchise are using each other right about now.

And, in all fairness, I've heard nothing bad about the stadium. Nothing gushing or over-the-top about it, either.

The stadium is fine, the team is on the upswing - but honestly, what is the greatest moment in Bengals history? Last year? The years they lost to the Niners in the Super Bowls?

The more I think about it - at least the Lions had Barry Sanders as a redeeming quality and Thanksgiving games, they had the Silver Rush defense - have the Bengals even HAD a unit that had a nickname other than OchoCinco - or ripping off NO's WhoDat?

Was that game colder than the Ice Bowl in Green Bay?

“Warmer” temperature (minus-9 vs. minus-13) but colder wind chill (minus-37 at Riverfront vs. minus-36 at Lambeau).

They have two potential HOFers playing pitch and catch right now. Someone can figure that out.
