Speculation I saw is CBS for 3:30 and NBC for prime time
You’d have to think this deal would strengthen the B1G’s hand re: Notre Dame

I would think the networks would want to have some flexibility shuffling time slots. Makes sense for CBS to want some prime time slots which can easily be accommodated by flipping with NBC on the weekends when Notre Dame isn’t at home. And Fox is going to want to show Trojans home games sometimes, especially after baseball ends and they have more schedule flexibility.

And ESPN/ABC is out of B1G talks.

So how long will it take for Gary Danielson to start gushing over the B1G like he has the SEC all these years

As soon as the check clears.

Whatever the difference in money (I expect the top two leagues to leapfrog each other for the foreseeable future), it is nice as a SEC stan to know that there’s only one network family and one streaming app to deal with once the deals kick in.

    And no aforementioned Gary Danielson.

I would not be surprised if Nessler and Danielson are replaced when CBS picks up the Big 10. Nessler was born in 1956 and Danielson in 1951. Presumably their contracts run concurrently with the SEC rights. I could see CBS deciding to swap in a younger crew for the Big 10 games.
