I always knew this, but never had it explained so well. I just knew that using 6 closers each to finish the game meant there was never going to be a comeback victory.

Him and Chris Sale should get together and go bowling. But the video kind, not the real kind, as they'd probably get hurt.

Kidding aside, those two are unbelievably snake bit.

Can't lie I was looking forward to tonight's AAA-All Star Game on MLB Network...Figure it's been gone a couple of years. Nice to see the kids on the crest of making the big clubs. The stadium and atmosphere are great. Always wanted to go to one...

    Oh it's gone? Forever.

Why does Manfred hate baseball so much?

Mark Prior chuckles derisively at this kids' stuff.

Mark Prior wasn’t cursed. He hurt his shoulder in a collision with Marcus Giles and Dusty rode him into the ground on a bum wing. He never recovered from the damage.

I watched him warm up from about 10 feet away (along with about 30 scouts) just before the draft his final year at USC. The ball made a hissing sound as it cut through the air toward the catcher. I've never heard anything like it.

Kershaw has said it feels like he'd been run over by a truck after a start.

It will be interesting to see who wins a playoff game first, Murray or the A's.

That seems like crazy money, even for the NFL.

DBacks DFA Dallas Keuchel. Could be the end of the road for a pretty decent pitcher.
