Smith got the inevitable "are you going to LIV?" question at his press conference, first he scolded the reporter then didn't issue much of a denial, "my team handles that, I just play, etc." Who the hell knows? Surely Norman would covet an Aussie major champion ... $$$

Hicks and Azinger aren't known creeps. I get your point, sir, but just no on Tirico. Sorry.

It's not. But because Golf Channel/NBC/Comcast had broadcast rights to both, they're trying to make it one.

Hasn't stopped the WWL either when convenient.

Jack Nicklaus won both in 1978, so Tirico was wrong, but it was corrected later. Nicklaus won the Players in 74-76–78.

As long as Rory’s buddy Harry is caddying for him, he’ll never win another major.
I’d be giving J.P. Fitzgerald a call this morning to say “ OK……what’s it going to take…..20%?”

His caddy would have done what to stop Cam Smith, tackle him?

As NBC mentioned ad nauseam at the end, McIlroy had 36 putts. Is that his caddy?

I wouldn’t put it all on his caddy, but it certainly couldn’t have hurt him.
