That's a great movie. A violent movie about kindness.

 

This morning, I thought about how things have panned out. I'm still angry. All I want to do is live in peace, design toys, write, make art, pray, and maybe help young people find their way to the world I fell in love with once I started wading into science. My life has 42 people-shaped holes in it. I don't want to move forward and act like it never happened. I just want those people who aided and abetted it to leave me alone. We have nothing to say to each other.

 

Well I always respected it but thought I could avoid it but got it yesterday and it’s no joke. I’ve taken 3 shots and now I wonder if I should have taken the 4th. Head cold and hacking cough, lovely.

 

I'm disappointed that the number of people I can truly trust is so small. I've been shocked to learn that so many people that I believed to be reasonable are stubbornly stupid, ignorant, selfish or uncaring.

 

The American body politic on both sides has decided that Covid is no longer an issue and off the table.

We'll see who's eating Pi a month or two from now.

 

My takeaway?

That the word "hopefully" has absolutely no meaning.

Whatsoever.

 

Eh, that word has been grammatically misused forever anyway.

 

I don't know that I was shocked at the number of Americans who were revealed to be ignorant and selfish twats, but I was dismayed to find out how many people that I thought were reasonably intelligent people were instead mindless lemmings with not a shred of critical thought or logic.

 

JR got it two and half weeks ago, me one week after him. I can't imagine what this would be like without the 3 shots we've had. I'm still a snot factory and both of us are exhausted all the time. And we were careful.

 

Be well to both of you. I’ve been hit like a ton of bricks; numbing headache, hacking cough that leads to more headache, total lack of energy. I’m hoping to get anti viral pills today.

 

You know I have been very careful. But client who was in my golf cart for some reason after round decided to put some chips down at casino before dinner and here the three of us at dinner are all positive. Dammit. One little mistake by him.
